Moore Pediatrics is a part of Norman Regional Health System and is located inside Norman Regional Moore at 700 S. Telephone Rd., Suite 400. The clinic is home to board-certified pediatric providers Reba Beard, MD, Betty Harmon, MD, and Laura Shao, PA-C.
All three providers are accepting new patients and care for patients from newborn to 18 years old. We offer sick care, well child checks, immunizations, school physicals and care for any other medical needs that may arise for your child.
If your child needs an elevated level of care, our pediatricians make it easy to get your child the care they need without having to go far—at Norman Regional HealthPlex. The HealthPlex offers a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Hospitalists.
The NICU offers rooming in services that allow parents to stay in a hospital room the night before their baby goes home. Other features of our NICU include:
- A high-risk delivery team for premature babies or babies in distress
- A board-certified neonatologist who is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- Donor breast milk for babies
- Neonatal transport
- Kangaroo Care, a technique in which an infant is held skin-to-skin with its parent with a blanket over the baby's back to keep warm.
Pediatric hospitalists specialize in the care of children who are hospitalized and will provide immediate and ongoing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Norman Regional HealthPlex’s pediatric hospitalist service provides quality and compassionate inpatient care.
Our service provides:
- Experienced pediatric hospitalists on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year

Influenza (the flu) is a virus that infects the respiratory system. Flu symptoms appear anywhere from one to four days a person has been exposed to the virus, meaning you could spread the virus before even knowing you’re sick.
Millions of children get sick with the flu each year and thousands are hospitalized, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That’s why our office does everything we can to help prevent the flu and ensure children get their flu vaccine. We host a flu clinic in our office every year for our patients, and we also help with Norman Regional Health System’s and Norman Regional Health Foundation’s free flu clinic each October at Norman Regional Moore called “Say Boo to the Flu.”
