External Beam Treatments
We offer 3-D conformal as well as intensity-modulated radiation therapy treatments (IMRT). With this treatment, radiation beams fit the shape of the tumor. The goal is to target the radiation to limit side effects and damage to healthy tissue.
We also offer Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy which administers very high doses of radiation, using several beams of various intensities aimed at different angles to precisely target the tumor. It is typically used to treat small, early-stage non-small cell lung tumors.
